If you haven't noticed, the decorative paint industry has sparked a bit of a trend when it comes to colorful and unique interiors. One of those trends is painted floors! Or, in this case, stenciled tile. Here are a few photos I found on our Pinterest that illustrate the trend I'm referring to:
Now, as many of you know, I'm getting married next year. Which means that I'll also be moving into a new home! I think tiled floors can go one of two ways; they can be boring and ugly or they can be uniquely beautiful. I plan on using my acquired knowledge of interior design (thank you, Virginia!) to decorate our first home for as cheaply as possible.
Tile can be very expensive, especially if you want a more ornate design. That's why I DIY'd four tiles and made a how-to video! Here are the before and after shots, followed by the video and a list of supplies you'll need to take on this project in your own home!
